The 700r4 and th350 us the same trans mont. It's not a bad switch the drive shaft will have to be cut about 3in. WebFeb 3, 2006 · The 2004r will bolt in using the turbo 400 crossmember and only needs the rubber (or poly) mounting holes elongated about 1/4 inch. A dremel works fine for this. The turbo 350 driveshaft and yoke work and fit without any changes. The 2004r torque converter bolts up to the stock 350 turbo flexplate.

Sadly, many people solve this problem by bypassing the neutral safety switch entirely, which was the case on this car. However, for Tri-Five Chevrolets there is a more elegant solution.

I had to bend the bracket quit a bit to make it fit but it works. You can get in trouble with a plain toggle switch. used a latching relay setup with my 700R4 lockup circuit. Pushing the switch locks the converter and latches it on. Stepping on the brake unlocks the converter. I removed the 4th only switch so I could lock the converter in 2nd or 3rd. dickies london shop
